No Bake – Chocolate & coconut slices
If you’re into coconut – you’ll love these. These home made no bake coconut and chocolate bars taste better than a bounty bar, with a fraction of the sugar included.
Ingredients (to make about 16 slices) :
95g oats
80g desiccated coconut
25 grams cacao
170g ground almonds (buy ready ground or bliztz in your food processor)
35g raw cacao powder
6 dates, pit removed
80 ml coconut oil, melted
60ml maple syrup
Instructions :
Place the oats, coconut, cacao, dates, coconut oil, maple syrup and vanilla into the large bowl of a food processor.
Blitz until finely chopped.
With the motor running add 1-2 tablespoons of water and blitz until the mixture comes together.
Press mixture into a lined baking dish, sprinkle over some more hemp seeds and freeze for an hour.
Remove from the freezer and cut into chunks.
Bars can be stored in the fridge or in an airtight container.
