Hope gets us through tough times. The exercise asks you to channel hope, when you may need it most, by identifying an event or memory that was a source of hope to you. When have you felt hopeful? The memory itself is not the focus, but the positive emotions and feelings that resided in your body at the time.
You can do this practice wherever you find yourself, always remembering to enter meditation exercises gently, kindly and without judgement.
Channeling a positive emotion allows you to reignite and reawaken your inner sense of hope. We hope that this practice gives you a little glimmer of hope.
